We’re excited to announce that HSOMH is joining Mars Global Adoption Weekend from October 2–4!
Thanks to the generous support of Mars and the PEDIGREE Foundation, adoption fees for select animals will be sponsored during this special weekend, giving more pets the opportunity to find their forever homes.
Meet the featured cats and dogs below:
You can view each pet’s individual profile by visiting hsomh.ca/cats or hsomh.ca/dogs or visit the featured animals in person during our visiting hours. Applications can be submitted online or on-site during the event.
Mars Global Adoption Weekend Visiting Hours
- Friday, October 2: 12–6 p.m.
- Saturday, October 3: 12–5 p.m.
- Sunday, October 4: 12–4 p.m.
While adoption fees are sponsored, our regular application and screening process still applies to help ensure every pet is matched with the right home for a happy, lifelong bond. Same-day adoptions may be possible based on availability and suitability.
Please note that sponsored adoption fees do not include medication, veterinary-prescribed food or other ongoing medical expenses.
