We are excited to offer a March Break Camp for children ages 10 to 13 who love animals. Each day of camp will feature a different animal focus and campers will enjoy hands-on time with shelter animals, play games, make crafts and hear from a variety of guest speakers.
Animal Interaction: While we can’t always predict which animals will be at the shelter during camp, campers will have the chance to spend time with a variety of furry, feathered, and scaly friends. Depending on the day’s theme, they’ll interact with cats, dogs, small animals, or reptiles!
Games & Crafts: Campers will enjoy creative, animal-themed crafts and games that bring learning and play together.
Education: Each day, campers will discover fascinating facts about the animals we care for. Plus, we often welcome special guest speakers to share their animal knowledge and passion throughout the week.
Daily themes:
Please note: We do not offer before- or after-care outside of these times.
The camp is held at the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton. The address is 445 Cornwall Road in Oakville.
The fee for March Break Camp is $385 for the full week.
Campers must be between 10-13 years old at the time of camp, no exceptions.
There is a maximum of 10 campers. Spaces are limited! Contact us to check availability.
If the camp is full, you can join the waitlist online through our registration system, Amilia. The wait list is not ranked and will notify everyone at the exact same time that a spot is free. It is filled on a first come, first served basis.
Campers will not be volunteering with the animals, but will have many opportunities to spend time with a variety of child-friendly animals that have been carefully selected to come to camp.
March Break Camp 2027 is coming soon!
