Meet Spot - a big hearted boy who has never met a belly rub he didn't like!

Spot came to us when his previous owner could no longer care for him, and while he arrived carrying a little (okay, a LOT) of extra baggage, he's been steadily and safely working on his fitness journey. He's still a big boy, but he's making great progress and would love a family who will continue helping him reach a healthy weight.

Spot is an absolute sweetheart who has complete and unquestioning faith in humanity. He loves people, loves attention, and apparently believes that the ideal position for receiving affection is lying completely belly-up directly behind your feet. If you happen to be walking by, don't worry, Spot fully expects you to simply step over him. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Butt pats and scratches? Absolutely. Personal space? He's heard of it, but doesn't seem particularly interested.

Spot is eating Purina DM to help keep his diabetes in remission, and his meals are carefully portioned to support his continued weight-loss journey. Any dietary changes should be discussed with a veterinarian. Spot's adoption fee is reduced to help cover the cost of his food at the time of adoption.
