Sammy was found as a stray so we do not have his history, but we do know that this fluffy boy is ready to find a home that understands and appreciates the unique personality of a Samoyed!

- Playful, bouncy, and always ready for fun
- Loves toys, especially tugs and stuffies
- Enjoys spending time with his people and will happily relax beside you after some activity
- Typical Samoyed personality - vocal, expressive, and full of character!
- Will need support with housetraining in his forever home
- Active and energetic, but also enjoys affection and companionship
- Can become overstimulated and will need guidance learning appropriate ways to manage his excitement
- Motivated by praise, excitement, movement, and engaging interactions
- Curious and busy-minded, always looking for something to do!

WHAT TYPE OF HOME IS SAMMY LOOKING FOR?
- Guardians with previous dog experience, ideally with Samoyeds or similar working/spitz breeds
- A home committed to ongoing training and helping him learn impulse control and relaxation skills
- A detached home or home with minimal shared walls, as Sammy can be quite vocal
- A securely fenced yard is strongly recommended to help him safely burn off energy
- A home where everyone is 16+
- A home prepared for regular grooming and coat maintenance
- May be able to live with a dog that would be tolerant of Sammy's exuberant play style and willing to participate in a structured introduction process
- Cats may be considered with careful, high-management introductions
