* Can be sensitive to body handling, harnessing, and unfamiliar situations
* Strong and enthusiastic on leash, especially when excited or distracted
* Can become reactive and vocal around other dogs and will need continued guidance building calm responses
* Will need to work on house training in her forever home
* Benefits from structure, routine, and confidence-building activities
* Looking for patient adopters who will help her learn to settle, regulate her excitement, and navigate new experiences

WHAT TYPE OF HOME IS ISLA LOOKING FOR?
* Experienced dog guardians committed to continuing her training
* A detached home with a securely fenced yard, no shared entryways, and no condos or apartments
* A quieter neighbourhood away from busy streets where she can decompress and build confidence
* A home with children aged 12+ who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs
* Preferably the only dog in the home while she continues working on her reactivity and social skills
* A home without other dogs is strongly recommended at this time, though experienced adopters may choose to carefully build positive relationships with well-balanced dogs in the future
* A dog-savvy cat may be considered only with experienced adopters committed to careful, gradual introductions and ongoing management
