Fergus came to us through another organization. After spending much of his young life in a shelter environment, he's now ready to find a forever home where he can continue learning, growing, and experiencing all the things a young dog should!

* Loves toys and interactive play
* Enjoys spending time with people and forms strong bonds quickly
* Happy, energetic adolescent with lots of enthusiasm for life
* Smart and eager to learn with consistent guidance
* Can be slightly nervous when meeting new people but warms up quickly
* Can become easily overstimulated when excited and is still learning appropriate ways to manage his big feelings
* Will need support with house training once he gets to his forever home
* Benefits from structure, routine, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment

WHAT TYPE OF HOME IS FERGUS LOOKING FOR?
* An experienced dog owner who understands the needs of energetic adolescent dogs
* A detached home in a quieter neighbourhood (no condos, high-rises, or busy streets)
* A fenced yard is recommended so he has space to safely burn off energy
* A family with children 16+, or slightly younger children if the family is experienced and committed to management
* A home committed to continuing his one-on-one training, focusing on leash skills, impulse control, and confidence building
* Can live with a tolerant, playful dog following proper introductions
* Cannot live with cats
* Someone who is ready to provide the consistency, patience, and enrichment Fergus needs to grow into a well-mannered adult companion
