Meet Goose!

Goose came to us as a stray, looking for a safe place to call home where he can spread his silly, lovable charm wherever he goes.

Goose is a certified Silly Goose, equal parts sweet, wobbly, and wonderfully affectionate. When you first meet him, he may be a little shy, but once he knows you're a friend, the transformation is immediate: suddenly he's leaning in for pets, asking to be picked up, and happily settling into your arms like he's exactly where he belongs.

While in our care, Goose experienced occasional neurological episodes that are suspected to be seizure activity. Since starting a medication called phenobarbital, these episodes have been well controlled and he has been doing very well. He will need to remain on this medication long-term, unless otherwise instructed by a veterinarian.

Goose is also eating a prescription diet called Royal Canin Gastro kitten, to help with digestion. Any dietary changes should be discussed with a veterinarian. A starter supply of his food will be provided at no added cost upon adoption.

When playtime begins, Goose's goofy side really shines. Feather wands and spring toys are among his absolute favourites, and he'll zoom after them with enthusiastic determination. He can be a little clumsy and wobbly at times, think more "adorably uncoordinated" than graceful, but that never stops him from jumping up, exploring, and joining in the fun.

Sometimes, Goose can get overly excited, especially during times where he is receiving lots of attention or is all riled up from playing, and may give you some love-bites. He just doesn't know where to put all of his energy! For this reason, Goose would likely do best in a home without young children.
