Came to us from another organization and is now ready for his perfect forever home!

- Very food motivated
- Working on his impulse control!
- Friendly, fun, and quirky!
- Likes attention
- Walks well on leash, especially if he gets his zoomies out first!
- Loves to go on walks - especially sniffy walks!
- Is quite reactive to other dogs so needs to go on quiet walks and avoid other dogs
- Playful and goofy - adores fetch!
- Easy to engage and eager to learn
- Excitable and working on not jumping up
- Can be sensitive to touch but is working on his confidence
- Resource guards high value items but his is working on this!
- Smart cookie - knows sit and down well!
- Has some foundational housetraining

WHAT TYPE OF HOME IS MONTY LOOKING FOR?
- An adult only (18+) home with dog experience
- No shared walls because of breed type
- Needs to be the only pet in the home
- Needs a fenced backyard to get his zoomies out
- A home excited to continue training!

Monty is currently taking a medication called Gabapentin to help with shelter stress and while he may not need this long term once transitioned into a home, changes should only be made in consultation with a vet.
