Does your 6-8 year old have a day off from school and nothing to do? Is your child crazy about animals? Join the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton for one of our animal-themed P.A. Day programs! Learn all about animals and meet some of our furry, feathered, or scaled friends!
Our education team uses innovative games, crafts, and animal interactions to help children gain a sense of understanding and empathy for all types of animals. We teach children the skills they need to stay safe around animals, both wild and domestic.
Our P.A. Day Programs are half-day sessions only. You can choose from:
Please note: We do not offer before- or after-care outside of these hours.
P.A. Day Programs take place at the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton & Halton. The address is 445 Cornwall Road in Oakville.
During P.A. Day Programs, children will have access to child-friendly animals that fit our theme. Attendees will not be volunteering to clean kennels or interacting with shelter dogs.
Our P.A. Day Programs are for 6-8 year olds.
There is a maximum of 10 children in each session.
Our P.A. Day Program dates correspond with those outlined in the school year calendar for the Halton District School Board. For a list of specific dates and themes, please refer to our registration forms, or contact us for more information.
The half-day program is $45. Spots will not be secured without completed registration forms and payment.
