This little old lady found her way to the Humane Society when her previous owners could no longer care for her. We've told her that she's a senior hamster, but she is here to prove us wrong! She's looking for the perfect forever home to spoil her and give her the cushy retirement she deserves!

Pigeon is looking for a nice big enclosure with copious amounts of bedding and fun things for her to chew on. She's a burrower extraordinaire and likes to hide her favourite snacks - particularly sunflower seeds - in them. She may be in her twilight, but she'll need a well-sized, safe wheel because she has some speed records that she is training to beat everyday!

Pigeon is very curious but seeks attention on her own terms. She likes to run around but if she is handled when she doesn't really feel like it, she has been known to be a bit nippy! We don't mind much though, we think she's earned the right to tell us exactly how she feels! For this reason, Pigeon is looking for a home with no young children

Pigeon wants a home where her family understands all of her quirks and will let her live out her golden months in style! She'd likely do best in a home without young children where her boundaries will be respected and she can enjoy more a chill home environment. Her adopters should also understand she may prefer to not be handled!
